In a garden full of mirth
The sweetest rose that smiles
For a grave deep down in the earth
Under the besmirched tiles
The bud in the land of green
Under the glowing sun
Burgeoned to make the scene
A flowing emotion
So the garden laughed and pranced
As the rose then further bloomed
But the grave never stood and danced
For it was totally doomed
But the rose did not lose heart
Waiting to reach its peak
And the scene that followed tore apart
The grave from its bleak
All was not in vain
The grave through with its strife
But the garden was not the same again
The rose had lost its life
The Story Behind
This poem like my previous efforts wants to say that hope and inspiration are the two most powerful sources of energy in this world. They have the power to bring the man lying in the grave back to life.
Here the flower rose acts as that source of inspiration for the grave which lies adjoining to the garden.
