Your smile is circumspect
In your eyes O my love
I see the tears flow
Oh...oh..
I have heard you sing a song
I sing it all along
I know you would be gone
No...no..
When you sang the last note
And then you ain't quote
I know the truth for life..
You died a silent death
With your final breath
The world will sing your song
You died a silent death
With your final breath
The world will sing your song
The Story Behind
My inspiration for this song arises from two words 'Silent Death'. I feel there is something esoteric in these words, something very mystical and hard to imagine.
I think they represent a soothing and pacifying beginning to a new journey after death to a whole new world full of mysteries.
However, this poem does not talk about that world. It talks about my perception of a silent death. A death which is expected and favoured; a death which does not make you cry or make you whine in pain. A death which brings you relief.
