Death is not a battle to be fought
Death is a grief for the distraught
Death is a redemption for the old
Death is a freedom for the bold
Death is a curse for the sinner
Death is a victory for the winner
Death is a killer for mortals fear
Death is a horizon, God is near
Death sinks like the setting sun
Death gives birth to a young one
Death is never the end of man
Death is just a send off plan
Death is a new journey all alone
Death acts like a pelted stone
On a luminous glass that gleams
To shatter with unfulfilled dreams
The Story Behind
In this universe, nothing ever dies. Thus nothing perpetually comes to an end. Death is the biggest lie. It just takes a different form. I believe this is what we must realise. If we do, there is nothing to fear from death. Infact imagine life without death. If man never dies, life would be dreadful for him. The more we try to fight death, the quicker we would die. The more we try to avoid thinking about death, the more we will fear death. We can't avoid death but can avoid fearing death. Death is just the end of the body, the soul is immortal.
This is what Buddha and Mahavir preached. They found out the hidden answers. The next time you are scared of death, don't avoid thinking about it. Replicate your fear, go deep down it. Be afraid to the extreme. Reach out till that point where you are so scared that later you are no longer afraid of anything else. That is where you should reach. Find out the exact cause of your fear. Accept the fact that death is unavoidable and predestined. Believe me you will never feel scared again.
Christ knew his death was predestined. That helped him live a sinless life. If we in a small way can emulate Christ by recognising our death other than running away, imagine the considerable amount of sin that would be reduced. Christ talked about his Kingdom in Heaven. Why did He have to die? Why couldn't he reach that Heaven while He was alive? Why did His sacrifice become our source of salvation? That's why I elaborate on death. It is not a curse or a killer, it is our path to God realisation.
In our own death, we sow the seeds of immortality.
