The Story Behind

This poem is a request made by a person who knows his love will always remain unrequited. The reason behind that is that he's in love with a celebrity. He knows he is never going to get the girl. He knows she is too big and too far away from him to accept or acknowledge his love for her. But still the poet who is a desperate fan of hers makes this small request to the love of his life as he just wants to see her once.

He just wants to get to know the beautiful person inside her. To know that beauty is skin deep. He wants to spend a few romantic moments with her. He does not expect love but at least expects some warmth and acceptance from her.

Unfortunately, this dream of his remains his unrequited dream and never gets fulfilled.
