Welcome! This website contains some of my modest poems written during the various phases and moods in my life. I am no great poet, but I sincerely hope someone will notice my poems and perhaps like them and relate them to their own experiences.

Sometimes, when you wander into the wilderness, you realise that there is yet another place that you can call home: Mother Nature. Similarly, for one moment if you stop thinking with your head and give way to your heart, the result is poetry.

I have made a humble effort of giving way to my heart more than once, and I wish to improve with every occasion. I am competing only with myself, but I wish to be victorious every time around.

There isn't much left to be said about myself. My poems turn out to be semi-autobiographical, and you can learn quite a bit about me by reading 'The Story Behind' each poem. But still, here's a short profile of who I am.

My name is Rohan Athalye. I'm 20, and an engineering student. I live in India. My hobbies include singing, acting, dreaming, and of course, poetry. I wish to thank my parents who are kind enough to help me and support me in pursuing my hobby.

I also wish to thank my friend Siddharth Bhatt, who designed this website and helped me a great deal with setting it up. I hope you like it.

Lastly, I wish to thank all the visitors of this site. With your support and feedback, I hope to get the inspiration which may help me continue my efforts.
